The new Iraqi dinar (IQD) is the currency used in present-day Iraq. Currently worth less than one US cent, many hope it will appreciate to a value similar to the old Saddam Hussein dinar. In this case, a $5,000 USD investment today would be worth more than 1 million US dollars.
