Detecting Fake Dinars with De-La-Rue 8625 (VIDEO)

Problems watching? Download the video directly (requires quicktime).

This is an instructional video that demonstrates how we check our Iraqi dinars for counterfeits using the De-La-Rue currency counter. This is just one part of our comprehensive Iraqi dinar counterfeit detection process.

In this video we use the De-La-Rue model #8625 currency counter with UV counterfeit detection.

On the De-La-Rue Model #8625, you can enable UV counterfeit detection for the Iraqi dinar by pressing the CF button to cycle through the counterfeit detection levels until "CF1" is displayed on the LCD screen. The other counterfeit detection levels are not applicable to Iraqi dinars.
